A River North luxury boutique accommodation, Hotel Felix meets LEED silver certification standards and welcomes guests to rest heads only a hop, skip, and low-energy jump from many of Chicago’s most popular attractions. The hotel, named from a Latin word meaning happy, actuates its namesake by proffering quiet quarters, a soothing spa, and a replenishing restaurant. Gleeful guests can also discover a concierge, room service, a fitness center, wireless internet, valet-parking, and beds that make themselves. Due to its convenient location, vacationing visitors are only a Segway ride away from the Loop, Grant Park, the John Hancock Tower, and the Water Tower Place. All rooms are non-smoking with the option of a queen or king sized bed or two double beds (ranging from $179 – $270 depending on booking dates).
Sierra Club supporters and novice naturalists alike will appreciate the paperless front desk, motion-sensored heating, ventilation, and air conditioning, and the upcoming green roof. The brainy business also utilizes passive solar heating techniques, eco-friendly laundry detergents and spa products, as well as carpeting made from recycled materials.
